about this work
In Eduardo Basualdo’s artistic practice emotional states are often expressed by using topics and images derived from nature. These charcoal drawings depict  moments of tension, fragility where all of the depicted rocks seem to be in danger of sliding down a slope any moment.
1.)Two stones seem to have stopped each other from sliding down a slope.
2.)Two stones seem to have stopped each other from sliding down a cleft of a rock.
3.)Lying on top of a hill, a rock seems to be in danger of sliding down any moment.

Additionally, some of the drawing can be read as a reflection about togetherness as the rocks are preventing each other from falling.
