Hazoumè, Romuald b.1962 / Ma poule
about this work
'Ma poule' is a French expression, a pet name of a man for his lady, which expresses that she is his, a reassuring expression. And she is in sync with this, accepting that she is ‘La Poule’ (the mother hen) by the way she wears her hair, which is ‘closed’ and means she is not available for marriage.
